About Les Mallow
Les Mallow is a lifelong West Virginian who believes deeply in the values that make our state strong: hard work, personal responsibility, and a life guided by his Christian faith, family, and looking out for your neighbor. He was raised in the Appalachian, blue-collar culture that values grit, self-reliance, and earning your way. He’s not a career politician —he’s a working attorney who has spent his career solving real problems for real people.

Born and raised in West Virginia, Les built his life around service to others. His Christian faith teaches him the importance of humility, service, honesty, and responsibility to others—principles that guide both his personal life and his work as an attorney. As a practicing attorney, he has represented individuals, families, and small businesses, seeing firsthand how government decisions affect everyday lives. That experience shaped his belief in accountability, fairness, and common-sense leadership —the kind West Virginians expect and deserve.

Les believes strong schools are the foundation of a strong state. He will fight for quality education and fair, competitive compensation for teachers and education professional staff entrusted with educating our children. He believes that when we respect and support educators, we are investing directly in the future of West Virginia.

Economic development is another top priority. Les believes everyone who is willing to work should have access to a good-paying job and the opportunity to contribute to their community. He supports policies that grow jobs, strengthen small businesses, and keep our young people here in West Virginia, where they can build careers, raise families, and help make our state strong and prosperous.

Les is a strong conservative and a proud Republican. He believes in limited government, personal freedom, fiscal responsibility, and protecting the West Virginia way of life. His approach is simple: put people first, focus on results, hold government accountable, and keep decisions grounded in common sense instead of politics.
Les and his wife, Madison, have made Elkins their home, where they are raising their two young children. They chose to build their lives here because they believe in West Virginia —and in the opportunities it offers for families who are willing to work and invest in their communities. They’re not going anywhere. West Virginia is home, and Les is committed to doing everything he can to fight for its future.
